WELCOME TO GREENDALE!
There are lots of things going on in Wisconsin at this time of year... some of them related to the wedding, others require you getting out there and exploring. Here are a few suggestions to make the most of your trip!
WALKING TOUR OF GREENDALE
If you're in town early on Thursday, July 6th, join the happy couple on a little walking tour of Downtown Greendale. It'll only take about an hour, but you'll get a chance to discover its unique history. Sign up for email to get updates on the specific start time.
meet and greet at panther pub
After the walking tour, join us for a meet and greet at Laura and Mark's favorite local hang out... Panther Pub! Their cheese curds are the perfect way to unwind after a long day of traveling. Actually, let's be honest... they're perfect anytime.
SUMMERFEST
It's the 50th anniversary of the largest music festival in the world and, as usual, this year's lineup features something for everyone. It runs from June 22nd through July 2nd and then July 4th through July 9th. You can get a 50th Commemorative 1-Day Ticket for $25.00 but quantities are limited!
boerner botanical gardens
These beautiful gardens were on Laura and Mark's list of possible ceremony sites. If you have time, it's the perfect place to decompress! The poem carved in its fireplace mantel says it all: Nature – where order in variety we see, and where, though all things differ, all agree.
pabst brewery tour
When in Milwaukee, do as Milwaukeeans do... drink beer! This is not a typical brewery tour; it's a guided history of a legendary Milwaukee icon! Did someone say beer?
MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM
The Quadracci Pavilion, sometimes referred to simply as the Calatrava, is an architectural work of art on its own! Enjoy the lakefront and the Cudahy Gardens where Laura, Mark and Mark's family watch fireworks every July.
